We are a friendly backyard swim school dedicated to getting your kids comfortable in the water, improving and refining their swimming skills, and making sure they have fun! We teach levels 1-5 and more. Our sessions run for two weeks each from June through July. You can find the descriptions of each level below. In this level, the focus of the lessons will be to get students used to the water. We want them to feel comfortable playing in the pool so that they'll be ready to learn the basics of swimming in Level 2.
Swimmers will be learning the basic skills of swimming in this level. They will be learning things like kneeling dives and front crawl.
This level is where students learn the strokes. To move on to Level 4, they should feel fairly comfortable swimming front crawl, back crawl, and elementary backstroke unassisted.
Students in this level learn the strokes more in depth, and start adding some technique. They will learn skills like sidestroke and surface dives.
In this level, swimmers will concentrate on refining their strokes. They will learn the basics of breaststroke and how to improve their dives.
This level is for swimmers who have passed the level 5 class and want to really get those skills down, as well as learn some racing technique.
For families with schedules that don't work with our main classes, or those who would just prefer private lessons, we offer them! We would also like to know what time would work for you, preferably for four days a week for two weeks, but if this doesn't work, we can figure something out.
